Pastoral Note

This is a suggested School Prayer, suitable mainly for Primary School students.

It has been written specifically for those schools which have a connection with the Good Samaritan Sisters as they celebrate 150 Years since their foundation in 1857.

It is envisaged that it can take the form of either a class prayer or a whole school assembly.

While this prayer could be held at any time in the school year, it probably be most suitable for either
• the Feast Of St Benedict (11th July)
• around the time of the 15th Sunday Of Ordinary Time Year C

The Prayer can be used with or without the accompanying powerpoint presentation
