Mount St Benedict Centre is a ministry of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan who seek to respond with compassion to the deep longings in our world.
In an environment of peace and beauty the centre offers hospitality, education and support for life’s journey by sharing its Benedictine traditions and resources.
Mount St Benedict Centre is located approximately 2 kms from Pennant Hills and Beecroft Stations. The Centre buildings are surrounded by a large property that has extensive garden areas.

This year’s programme offers an opportunity:
– to search the scriptures,
– to update theology and spirituality,
– to pray,
– to browse in the library and
– to have some quiet time in the beauty and peace of this bushland setting.


Centre Facilities

Mount St Benedict Centre has facilities for group bookings, for day or
residential seminars and conferences. It offers catered meals or self-catering options. The grounds are spacious and parking is ample.

There is a Chapel (inclusive in costs) which is generally available upon request.

A Theological Library is available for use from Monday to Friday.

Spiritual Direction is available by appointment for those who desire it.

Facilities are available according to need. There are four levels as follows.

  1. Philomena Basement. Includes Conference room, kitchenette and three discussion rooms. (The only self catering area and only for non-residential groups).
  2. Ground Floor. Includes Conference room and two discussion rooms. The dining room (inclusive for all catered groups) is on this floor.
  3. First Floor. Includes Conference room and one discussion room. The Oratory (inclusive if requested and available) is on this floor.

Half day session: $25.00 per person

Use of ground floor and morning/afternoon tea

• Day session: $50.00 per person

Use of ground floor, morning and afternoon tea, lunch

• Full day session: $80.00 per person
9.00 – 9.00 p.m.
Use of ground floor, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner

• Twilight session:
• $40.00 per person
5.00 – 9.00 p.m.
Use of ground floor, dinner
• $30.00 per person
Use of ground floor, light refreshments

• Full residential $120.00 per person
overnight accommodation, use of ground floor facilities, all meals
• Bed and breakfast only $60.00 per person

  • Half day, Full Day, Twilight sessions can accommodate 50-60 people
  • Residential accommodation includes 35 single bed rooms and 2 double bedrooms. Back to top

Friday Dinner to Sunday afternoon $240.00 per person
(2 days including Friday evening meal)

Friday after dinner to Sunday afternoon $210.00 per person
(2 days without Friday evening meal)

Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon $180.00 per person

  • Weekend packages are for the ground floor and first floor facilities.
  • Additional room/s on other floors will incur a $5.00 per person per room cost.

This level is non residential only & can accommodate 30 people

Mount St Benedict Library

Mount St Benedict library provides resources and information for personal use or ministry.
The Library holds approximately 16,000 items (books and audio visual material) and subscription to 65 journals.
Any person is welcome to visit the library during opening hours. Those who wish to borrow must register and become a member.
Items may be borrowed immediately on registration and payment of small annual donation.

Mount St Benedict Chapel
Mount Saint Benedict Chapel is available for weddings for relatives, friends, Associates and Oblates of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, and for ex-students of Mount Saint Benedict College.
