The Good Samaritans are a group of ordinary women whose desire is to seek God – the maker, keeper and lover of all that exists.
Archbishop Polding founded the congregation to be a religious community at the heart of the Church. Good Samaritans live out their search for God with others in community, by their commitment to prayer and by their love for their neighbour – whoever he or she may be.
In 2011 when the sisters gathered in chapter they endorsed their vision statement (2011-2017) giving shape and direction to their life of prayer and service.
As Sisters of the Good Samaritan

who impels us to be neighbour.
