The Sisters of The Good Samaritan - Safeguarding of Children, Young People and Adults at Risk

Visitation and pastoral ministry

Wherever they are, Good Samaritan Sisters endeavour to live by the gospel values of caring for the sick, visiting those imprisoned, feeding the thirsty and hungry, and welcoming the stranger.

From their first days in Sydney, sisters have made a special effort to respond to those around them.

Today, we find this ministry of visitation and pastoral support happening in many different locations: city hospitals, rural and isolated parts of Australia; the Mental Hospital in Kiribati; the nursing home in Nara, Japan; the squatter district of Bacolod, the Philippines.
