Celebrate Refugee Week: watch a film with the Good Sams

To celebrate Refugee Week 2018, June 17-23, the Good Samaritan Refugee Support Network will host special screenings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane of four films that explore refugee themes.

 

SYDNEY

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea will be screened at St Scholastica’s Function Room, 2 Avenue Road, Glebe Point, at 5:30pm on Friday June 22, followed by discussion and a light supper.

The Visitor will be screened at Mount St Benedict Centre, 449D Pennant Hills Road, Pennant Hills, at 2:00pm on Saturday June 23, followed by discussion and afternoon tea.

MELBOURNE

The Good Lie will be screened at St Benedict’s office, 5 Wardrop Grove, Northcote, at 10:00am on Saturday June 23, followed by morning tea and discussion.

 

BRISBANE

Constance on the Edge will be screened at Sts Peter and Paul Parish Hall, 235 Riding Road, Bulimba, at 2:00pm on Saturday June 23, followed by discussion and sharing over afternoon tea.
