In the spirit of compassion and mutual acceptance, Good Samaritans have been committed to working with people with disability throughout our 160-year history.
In Kiribati, Japan, the Philippines and Australia, we have responded to opportunities to foster the participation and inclusion of people with disability in parishes, hospitals, local communities and in programs sponsored by other professional agencies.
Since 1957, Mater Dei School at Camden (now part of Good Samaritan Education), in partnership with parents and the wider community, has been an advocate, carer and educator of children and young adults with an intellectual disability.
