Ecological Conversion = Conversion of Life (Part 2)

A reflection on the Relationship between John’s Understanding of the Logos and Paul’s Understanding of the Cosmic Christ, by Good Samaritan Sister Diana Law, a member of the Sisters’ Ecological Conversion Committee.

Whispering God, Cosmic Word,

Creative Spirit

Divine imprint of life, light and love

Into every atom whispered into being

Connecting, reproducing

In kaleidoscopic wonder.

Each a mini universe

Uniquely interconnected in the whole:

Your Word, forever spoken

Eternally reverberating:

“Take! Eat! This is MY Body

Take! Drink! This is my Blood”

“… You will never hunger

Or thirst again”.

Whispering God, Creative Word,

Forever spoken

Drawing all; inspiriting all:

Eternally active

Gentle breeze and roaring hurricane,

Radiant sunrise

Swaying branches,

Tall, serene:

Shouting connectedness,

Diversity, Oneness,

The Alpha and Omega

Inter-related and intra-connected.

Whispering God, Majestic Word.

Soaring in an eagle,

Silent in a stream.

Universal resting Home.

Orchid tenderness,

Radiant in every glance of love

God in us; All in God.

We live

But it is not us who live

But Christ, the Cosmic Christ,

The Logos, the Divine Word,

Who lives in us.
