Universal Guidelines Framework
The UGF are safeguarding guidelines published by the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors. The Holy Father directed the Commission to strengthen the existing Safeguarding Guidelines throughout the universal Church to ensure that the Church is a safe environment for children and adults at risk, among others. An analysis of this document has demonstrated that it mirrors the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.
